Leadership & Management
People & Strategy has a strong track record in the areas of Leadership and Management as subject areas, coupled with practical experience in developing toolkits and resources for public sector agencies. We have worked with over thirty public sector agencies on these subjects.
People & Strategy’s experience and expertise is in:
- delivery of leading-edge supervision, leadership and management development programmes as well as skills development (including leading and working in line with APS values, leadership at all levels, leadership in the contemporary APS, and transition to leadership and management);
- consultation, review and evaluation processes for leadership development initiatives;
- review of best practice leadership development (nationally and internationally, and within private and public sectors);
- defining leadership and management capabilities and behaviours;
- design of leadership and management development frameworks and resources;
- design and delivery of diagnostic questionnaires (e.g. 360 feedback questionnaire); and
- coaching for managers and executives to develop skills, knowledge and attitudes for effective leadership in the public sector environment.
